About Weiss Wellness Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

At Weiss Wellness, therapy is not about fitting people into a single method or formula. It is about understanding the full picture of who you are, what you are carrying, and what support actually looks like for your life.

Founded by Tracey Weiss, LCSW, Weiss Wellness is a multidisciplinary psychotherapy practice based in Ridgewood, New Jersey, serving children, teens, adults, parents, families, and individuals navigating later-life transitions.

We believe meaningful therapy starts with feeling understood. Every client comes in with a different story, personality, history, and set of challenges, which is why our work is highly individualized and grounded in real-life application, not just clinical theory.

Our therapists combine evidence-based treatment with integrative approaches to help clients better manage anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, identity struggles, burnout, parenting demands, grief, and major life transitions. More importantly, we focus on helping people build practical emotional tools they can carry into everyday life outside the therapy room.

Whether someone is seeking support during a difficult season or looking for long-term personal growth, our goal is to create a space that feels collaborative, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive.

Therapy for Every Stage of Life

Life does not come with one set of emotional challenges. The struggles people face at 14 look very different from the ones they face at 24, 44, or during retirement. At Weiss Wellness, we support clients through the emotional realities that come with each stage of life.

Children & Teens

Growing up today comes with constant pressure. Academic expectations, social dynamics, friendships, identity development, social media, and college preparation can all impact a young person’s emotional well-being.

We help children and teens better understand their emotions, strengthen confidence, improve coping skills, and navigate these years with more resilience and self-awareness.

Young Adults & College Students

The transition into adulthood can feel exciting, overwhelming, and uncertain all at once. Young adults are often balancing independence, relationships, identity, academic stress, career pressure, and the emotional adjustment that comes with entering a new phase of life.

We support clients through these transitions while helping them build confidence, emotional clarity, and healthier coping strategies.

Adults

Adulthood often means carrying responsibilities in every direction at once. Career stress, burnout, anxiety, relationships, parenting, self-worth, and life changes can gradually leave people feeling emotionally exhausted or disconnected from themselves.

Our work with adults focuses on helping clients untangle what feels heavy, recognize patterns that may no longer serve them, and move toward healthier ways of coping and living.

Parents & Families

Parenting can be deeply meaningful, but it can also feel isolating and emotionally demanding. Families today are navigating changing dynamics, communication struggles, emotional stress, and the challenges of raising children in an increasingly fast-paced world.

We work with parents and families to strengthen communication, improve emotional understanding, and create healthier family relationships.

Retirement & Later-Life Transitions

Retirement is one of life’s biggest transitions, yet it is rarely talked about from an emotional perspective. Questions around purpose, identity, routine, relationships, and what comes next often emerge during this stage.

We help individuals navigate this transition with support, perspective, and space to redefine what fulfillment can look like in this next chapter.
